The popular resort of Porthtowan is only a few minutes drive as is the quaint resort of St.Agnes, with its beautiful sandy beach at Trevaunance Cove. The section of the North Cornwall Coastal Path in the area of Porthtowan, Chapel Porth, St. Agnes Beacon, and Trevaunance Cove has some of the most beautiful cliff scenery in the country, abounding in wild flowers and numerous species of sea birds.
